Overview

As an Analytics Manager at Sotheby’s, you will utilize data to enhance business decisions in the art and luxury commerce sector, focusing on improving and optimizing the unified data layer across consumer applications.

In Short

  • Own the strategy and operations of data pipelines and tracking architecture.
  • Drive scope and requirements for data tracking and tagging.
  • Collaborate with product managers and development teams on Segment implementations.
  • Develop insights on customer behavior to guide business decisions.
  • Build frameworks for Segment tracking for new products.
  • Gather requirements and conduct exploratory data analysis.
  • Provide recommendations for A/B and multivariate testing.

Requirements

  • Experience with Segment analytics implementations.
  • Degree in Data Science, Statistics, or a related field preferred.
  • 4+ years of relevant professional experience, ideally in B2C.
  • Strong background in data analysis, including user experience sense.
  • Experience with analytic tools like Amplitude, Tableau, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting insights.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Highly organized and capable of multitasking.
