International Accounting Manager - Remote

Overview

The International Accounting Manager will oversee monthly accounting close activities, improve international accounting processes, and collaborate with various teams to ensure compliance with financial regulations.

In Short

• Perform monthly accounting close activities including intercompany journal entries.
• Manage international accounting processes.
• Review intercompany agreements and collaborate with Corporate Accounting, Legal, Treasury, and IT.
• Partner with EMEA statutory accounting firms for financial statements.
• Support external audits in EMEA.
• Assist in preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements.
• Support the International Accounting Manager with projects and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and IFRS.
• Utilize advanced Excel skills for financial analysis.
• Maintain strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 4+ years of professional experience with month-end close experience.
• Public accounting experience preferred.
• Experience with audits of publicly held companies.
• Strong knowledge of lease accounting and foreign currency transactions.
• Experience in a global environment is a plus.
• Familiarity with large ERP systems (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP).
• Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Strong business acumen and communication skills.
