The Insurance Accounts Receivable Specialist I is responsible for performing entry-level insurance billing and follow-up tasks to support timely and accurate reimbursement.

  • Adhere to operational policies and compliance guidelines.
  • Participate in training sessions and meetings.
  • Make system corrections and resubmit claims as necessary.
  • High standards of ethical conduct required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a customer service or healthcare setting preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Cultural sensitivity and respect for diverse populations.
  • Dependability and punctuality.
  • Basic knowledge of medical facility layout (training provided).
  • Skill in using Microsoft Office.
