Accounts Receivable Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for managing the full cycle of accounts receivable processes to ensure accurate and timely collection of payments.

In Short

• Manage invoicing and collection processes.
• Communicate with clients and internal teams.
• Process insurance claims and follow up on denials.
• Post payments and reconcile accounts.

• 1-3 years of relevant experience required.
• High school diploma or GED required; higher education preferred.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of accounts receivable practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to communicate professionally with patients and insurance representatives.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Understanding of billing software and EHR systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training.
