Accounts Receivable Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for processing day-to-day cash receipts from customers and managing customer communications regarding invoice collection and inquiries, all while maintaining relationships with stakeholders.

In Short

• Process cash receipts using Sage Intacct and other systems.
• Manage customer communications regarding invoices and collections.
• Analyze cash application and collection procedures.
• Prepare reports on cash collection trends.
• Develop relationships with internal and external customers.
• Perform detailed analysis of billing inquiries.
• Monitor and follow up on delinquent accounts.
• Participate in audits and process improvements.
• Manage account suspensions or cancellations.
• Perform ad hoc tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of AR and collections experience.
• Associate’s degree or equivalent in Accounting or Business Administration.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Solid understanding of accounts receivable and accounting policies.
• Highly organized with attention to detail.
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams.
• Strong MS Office Suite skills.
• Experience with Intacct or other ERPs is a plus.
