Director of Project Management - Remote

Overview

As the Director of Project Management, you will be the primary architect of SmithRx’s Operational Operating System, driving decision durability and portfolio integrity across the enterprise.

In Short

• Lead the Project Management function to a high-maturity directive role.
• Design governance frameworks and enforce Stage-Gate processes.
• Translate 50+ workstreams into actionable executive narratives.
• Ensure data integrity and provide a single source of truth for projects.
• Drive accountability and improve project delivery predictability.
• Mentor a team of project managers and promote execution excellence.
• Facilitate cross-functional training on project management disciplines.
• Identify and eliminate delivery bottlenecks.
• Leverage automation tools for real-time project tracking.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts across the organization.

Requirements

• 10+ years of project management experience in an EPMO environment.
• Success in leading innovation pipelines and stage gate processes.
• Experience in fast-changing environments with shifting priorities.
• Ability to drive cross-functional alignment without direct authority.
• Strong skills in translating complexity into actionable insights.
• Experience building or scaling PMO functions.
• Expertise in project management tools.
• Lean / Continuous Improvement experience is preferred.
