Field Service Engineer - Remote in Illinois

Overview

The Field Service Engineer is responsible for providing on-site customer support for SolarEdge products installed in the field, focusing on troubleshooting and technical support to ensure proper operation of these products.

In Short

• Provide technical support for SolarEdge products.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose solar inverter issues.
• Advise customers on equipment operation and maintenance.

Requirements

• Preferred BSEE, BSME or equivalent technical experience.
• Strong knowledge of PV system regulatory codes.
• Basic understanding of IP network technology.
• 2+ years in a technical customer service role.
• Ability to travel over 70% of the time.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Technical knowledge of SolarEdge products is a plus.
• Spanish bilingual proficiency is a plus.
