HSE Specialist - Remote

Overview

We have an opening for an experienced HSE Specialist to join our Project Teams in a role that is permanent, full time based- Monday to Friday. The role will be based out of our office in Balcatta but will require regular travel to our remote sites in the Pilbara.

In Short

• Act as a point of contact for clients and community groups addressing HSEQC issues.
• Form strong working relationships with community groups near remote sites.
• Manage company and client driven HSE activities and programs.
• Prepare HSEQ KPI reports for management communication.
• Facilitate risk assessments and update risk registers.
• Participate in critical control program assurance activities.
• Report incidents and ensure investigations are conducted.
• Ensure monthly HSE inspections are completed.
• Review and update company HSE manuals and procedures.
• Conduct Gap Analysis of employee training pathways.

Requirements

• Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety (minimum).
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
• Certified in Internal Auditing (desirable).
• Root Cause Incident Investigation Training (desirable).
• Current West Australian C Class driver’s license.
