Overview

As a 1st Cook at Kelsey Camp, you will work in a remote environment, preparing meals and ensuring a safe and comfortable living space for workers.

In Short

• Prepare meals from scratch, not frozen.
• Supervise kitchen staff and train them on their duties.
• Maintain inventory and order supplies.
• Work in a team environment in remote settings.
• Flexible schedule to accommodate meal preparation for varying team arrivals.
• Must have Red Seal Certification.
• Clear criminal record check is required.
• Physical ability to meet job demands.

Requirements

• Red Seal Certification is a must.
• Food safety/Food handling certificate.
• Previous camp cooking experience.
• Ability to lift and stand for long periods.
• Strong safety culture and experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Computer skills (Word, Excel, email).
