The Director of Donor Engagement is a proactive senior professional responsible for advancing the SIR Foundation’s philanthropic goals through the strategic cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of member donors.

• Develop and execute strategies to grow the SIR Foundation endowment.
• Cultivate and manage a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals.
• Lead fundraising events including the SIR Foundation Gala.
• Supervise the Manager of Donor Engagement.
• Collaborate with the Director of Corporate Relations.
• Manage annual fundraising plans and budgets.
• Track fundraising metrics and generate reports.
• Design and implement donor stewardship strategies.
• Oversee the management of the SIR Foundation Gala Committee.
• Direct day-to-day operations of the Donor Engagement Team.

Requirements

• Demonstrated knowledge of major gift campaigns and corporate giving.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office.
• Understanding of general accounting practices.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Seven or more years of experience in development programs.
• Five or more years of management experience required.
