Overview

As a Staff Cloud Support Engineer at Snowflake, you will be responsible for providing high-quality technical support to customers, ensuring they achieve optimal use of the Snowflake Data Warehouse.

In Short

  • Drive technical solutions to complex problems for Snowflake customers.
  • Adhere to response and resolution SLAs for customer issues.
  • Demonstrate good problem-solving skills and be process-oriented.
  • Utilize the Snowflake environment and tools to investigate issues.
  • Document known solutions for internal and external knowledge bases.
  • Submit well-documented bugs and feature requests.
  • Proactively identify recommendations to improve product quality.
  • Provide support coverage during holidays and weekends as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 8+ years of experience in a Technical Support environment.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across global teams.
  • Experience with major public cloud providers like AWS, Azure, GCP.
  • Experience in configuring and troubleshooting drivers like ODBC, JDBC.
  • Extensive experience with web security and networking technologies.
  • Experience in database systems and SQL queries.
  • Deep understanding of data governance capabilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
