Platform Specialist - Solution Innovation - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a talented Platform Specialist based in Costa Rica to join our Solution Innovation team. This role will play a crucial part in supporting Sales Engineers (SEs), maintaining and upgrading critical demos, and managing SE demo accounts.

In Short

• Maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot existing demos to ensure high availability, performance and relevance.
• Ensure proper documentation and update guides for demo maintenance and usage.
• Develop automation scripts to improve efficiency in managing demo environments.
• Enforce security and compliance standards to ensure demo environments adhere to internal policies.
• Test and enforce demo standards for Snowflake Certified content to maintain consistency and quality.
• Support and foster SE community submissions, ensuring contributions align with best practices and demo guidelines.
• Provide support to SEs for technical issues related to demo content.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in technical support, system maintenance, or demo content management.
• Strong Snowflake expertise, with experience in Snowflake configurations and best practices.
• Experience supporting Sales Engineers, including troubleshooting demo content.
• Strong SQL expertise, including complex query writing, optimization, and performance tuning.
• Experience in data engineering, developing data pipelines, transformations, and data lake architectures.
• Hands-on scripting experience with Python for automation and system maintenance.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to create technical documentation and support materials.
• Organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
