Field Service Technician I - Remote

Overview

The Field Service Technician I position involves daily travel to various locations in and around the Philadelphia Metro area, providing technical support and maintenance for security screening technology.

In Short

• Meet daily service repair needs and drive customer satisfaction.
• Install, repair, and maintain equipment in the field.
• Document all inspections, maintenance, and repair work.
• Participate in service sales opportunities.
• Ensure tools and test equipment are maintained and calibrated.
• Provide technical support to customers and service professionals.

• Travel may be required, including overtime and non-standard hours.

• Possess basic technical knowledge on Trace and X-Ray technologies.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree or related trade certification in electrical, electronic, or mechanical fields.
• 1-3 years of experience in troubleshooting and field repair.
• Excellent communication skills and customer focus.
• Ability to travel at short notice.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 80 lbs and manipulate heavier equipment.
• Must comply with Sensitive Security Information access requirements.
• Self-motivated and accountable individual.
• Ability to work in various environments, including extreme conditions.
