Field Service Technician I - Remote

Overview

The Field Service Technician I position involves daily travel in and around the Philadelphia Metro area to provide service and support for security and detection technology.

In Short

• Responsible for meeting daily service repair needs and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Installs, repairs, and maintains equipment in the field.
• Documents all inspections and repair work.
• Participates in Service Sales opportunities.
• Ensures tools and test equipment are maintained and calibrated.
• Provides technical support to customers and service professionals.

• May require travel and work outside of regular hours.
• Requires Sensitive Security Information access and background investigation.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree or related trade certification.
• 1-3 years of experience in troubleshooting and field repair.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to travel at short notice.
• Must pass federal background investigation.
• Ability to lift/carry heavy equipment.
• Self-motivated and reliable.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work in various environments.
• Basic technical knowledge of Trace and X-Ray technologies.
