Field Service Technician I - Remote

Overview

This position requires daily travel to locations in and around the Honolulu area, including the airport, to provide field service support for equipment installations, repairs, and customer training.

In Short

• Responsible for meeting daily service repair needs and driving customer satisfaction.
• Installs, repairs, and maintains equipment in the field.
• Documents all inspections, maintenance, and repair work.
• Orders, installs, and manages repair parts cycle time.
• Participates in service sales opportunities.
• Ensures tools and test equipment are maintained and calibrated.
• Provides technical support to customers.
• May participate in site surveys and pilot program service activities.
• Possesses basic technical knowledge on the company’s technologies.
• Maintains clear business communication.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree or related trade certification.
• 1-3 years of experience in troubleshooting and field repair.
• Excellent communication skills and customer focus.
• Willingness to travel at short notice.
• Ability to lift/carry heavy equipment.
• Must comply with health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Must pass a federal background investigation.
