Field Service Technician I - FAT - Remote

Overview

The Field Service Technician I position involves traveling to various locations to install, repair, and maintain equipment while ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with safety regulations.

In Short

• Daily travel to locations in and around the Fresno Yosemite area.
• Responsible for service repair needs and customer satisfaction.
• Installs, repairs, and maintains equipment in the field.
• Documents all inspections and maintenance work.
• Participates in service sales opportunities.
• Ensures tools and test equipment are maintained and calibrated.
• Provides technical support to customers.
• May require travel, overtime, and work hours outside of Monday-Friday.
• Complies with health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Possesses basic technical knowledge of Trace and X-Ray technologies.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree or related trade certification.
• 1-3 years of experience in troubleshooting and field repair.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to travel at short notice.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 80 lbs.
• Ability to work in extreme environments around industrial equipment.
• Must pass a federal background investigation.
