Overview

The Customer Care Service Coordinator will be a customer advocate and provide a world-class level of customer support to internal and external customers of Smiths Detection. This role is the catalyst to providing customers with First Call Resolution to their inquiry.

In Short

  • Accurately opens and documents service events within the SMS.
  • Generates work orders for field service engineers.
  • Investigates and rectifies customer concerns.
  • Coordinates schedules for Field Service Engineers.
  • Creates quotes for consumable orders and parts.
  • Conducts follow-up calls for customer satisfaction.
  • Communicates with partners and vendors.
  • Processes orders and resolves billing inquiries.
  • Maintains liaison with various departments.
  • Complies with health, safety, and environmental policies.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required; Associates' Degree preferred.
  • 2 years of experience in customer service/support.
  • Good communication skills and customer focus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
  • Experience with SAP, ServiceMax, Salesforce, or CRM.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects.
  • Self-motivated and reliable.
  • Must be adaptable to changing shifts.
  • Must pass government background checks.
  • Fluency in English required.
