Overview

The Customer Care Service Coordinator will be a customer advocate and provide a world class level of customer support to internal and external customers of Smiths Detection, ensuring First Call Resolution for inquiries.

In Short

  • Document service events accurately within the SMS.
  • Generate work orders for field service engineers.
  • Investigate and resolve customer concerns.
  • Coordinate schedules for Field Service Engineers.
  • Create quotes for consumable orders.
  • Conduct follow-up calls for customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate with customers about progress and status.
  • Process orders and manage inventory.
  • Maintain liaison with various departments.
  • Comply with health, safety, and environmental policies.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required; Associates' Degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of customer service/support experience.
  • Good communication skills with customer focus.
  • Experience with data entry and scheduling.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
  • Experience with SAP, Salesforce, or CRM software desirable.
  • Ability to multitask and meet service-level agreements.
  • Must be a U.S. Person for security clearance.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing shifts and requirements.
  • Ability to pass government background checks.
