The Account Executive is responsible for identifying opportunities and building relationships with prospects and clients within a defined territory. This position is critical to Smith.ai's mission of helping small and medium businesses succeed, and offers a highly rewarding opportunity for candidates with successful B2B sales experience, consultative sales skills, and a desire to make an immediate impact in a high-growth tech company.

In Short

  • Identify buyer motivations and position the value of Smith.ai's technology and services.
  • Develop and manage a sales pipeline to achieve targets.
  • Map client organizations and build relationships with multiple contacts.
  • Research and identify opportunities in new verticals.
  • Articulate Smith.ai's value proposition and product differentiation.
  • Manage a strategic sales process with multiple decision-makers.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to drive value.
  • Communicate effectively with prospects and customers.
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements of products and operations.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years successful B2B technology sales experience.
  • Experience in growth stage startups preferred.
  • Experience closing deals in the $3K-$25K MRR range.
  • Prior usage of MEDDICC and relevant sales methodologies.

Benefits

  • Base salary ranging between $65,000 - $75,000 per year.
