HR Onboarding Specialist - Remote

Overview

The HR Onboarding Specialist is responsible for ensuring candidates complete all pre-hire activities and are hired and ready to begin employment by the scheduled new hire orientation day.

In Short

• Support candidates from offer acceptance through first month of employment.
• Ensure completion of pre-hire steps including background checks.
• Contact candidates weekly to remind them of onboarding forms.
• Assist with new hire benefits enrollment process.
• Hire new employees into UltiPro, verifying data accuracy.
• Respond to escalated requests from candidates and managers.
• Provide necessary reports for candidate volumes.
• Execute HR audit programs for compliance.
• Complete system transactions with necessary reviews and approvals.
• Work in a normal office environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent with administrative experience.
• Experience in customer service and HR administration preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office and experience with HRIS and ATS.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Good judgment in handling sensitive information.
• Ability to build relationships with candidates and HR teams.
• Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Ability to work on a computer for extended periods.
