Technical Project Manager - Remote

Overview

Smartsheet is looking for a Technical Project Manager to leverage their technical expertise of the full Smartsheet stack, support processes & technologies, and industry experience to manage and consult on initiatives within the Technical Support department.

In Short

• Work closely with Support delivery leadership and partner teams to identify training opportunities and evaluate support initiatives.
• Identify and drive customer support experiences into process and operational improvements.
• Lead cross-departmental initiatives to improve scalable operating procedures.
• Act as a change agent; identify issues and promote improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams for knowledge dissemination.
• Be knowledgeable on the Smartsheet core, API, and integrations.
• Evaluate release readiness needs and identify risks.
• Align projects with business goals and communicate results.
• Assess risks and recommend solutions balancing business needs with technical constraints.
• Produce technical documentation for operational efficiency.

Requirements

• A record of driving projects towards operational excellence.
• Ability to bring structured thinking into ambiguous situations.
• 3+ years of experience in a technical support environment, preferably SaaS.
• A passion for enabling meaningful customer interactions.
• Results-driven and self-motivated, able to work independently and in teams.
• Ability to use data for analysis and decision-making.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
