Overview

The Regional Sales Executive is responsible for introducing new hospitals and health systems to SmarterDx, managing the sales pipeline, and generating client contracts. This role is remote and targets the Southern region of the United States.

In Short

  • Introduce hospitals and health systems to SmarterDx's clinical AI solution.
  • Target key decision-makers such as CFOs and Revenue Cycle leaders.
  • Develop account plans for targeted prospects.
  • Cultivate senior peer relationships within prospective client organizations.
  • Progress opportunities through the sales pipeline.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Marketing and Customer Success.
  • Maintain accuracy of pipeline accounts in Salesforce.
  • Continuously learn and articulate the value proposition of SmarterDx's solutions.
  • Participate in relevant industry associations and events.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of sales success with HIT companies, preferably SaaS.
  • In-depth knowledge of the healthcare market, especially CDI/Coding and Revenue Cycle.
  • Proven success in developing new prospects.
  • Strong interpersonal and selling skills.
  • Familiarity with remote sales tools (Google suite, MS Office, Salesforce).
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Must reside within the Central territory (Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, or Georgia).
