Overview

The Education Sales Consultant is the primary business development salesperson for the k-12 education market based in Mexico and supporting education sales in the Latin America Region. In addition, the ESC works with Government and Institutions key decision makers to introduce SMART solutions through the adoption of our products.

In Short

  • Responsible for creating a territory plan identifying priority countries and strategies to hit revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision makers in the LATAM Education Sector.
  • Introduce SMART's product solutions from concept phase through revenue recognition.
  • Identify new funding opportunities within a country or region.
  • Organize and host key events including trade shows and executive visits.
  • Provide input into strategic consortiums and local alliances.
  • Develop programs for local content creation.
  • Support closing of opportunities within SMART’s Channel.

Requirements

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and desire to work in a team environment.
  • Strong knowledge of SMART's products and software.
  • Ability to present confidently in front of large groups.
  • Experience operating at senior levels within complex customer organizations.
  • Strong Education Acumen or former teaching skills.
  • High level of proficiency with technology.
  • Self-starter with ability to learn new skills independently.
