Information Security Officer - Remote

Overview

As an Information Security Officer, you will develop internal security policies, share your expertise with various departments, and ensure that our security standards are always up to date.

• Develop, implement, and maintain information security strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify risks and vulnerabilities.
• Ensure compliance with legal regulations (e.g., NIS-2, DORA).
• Train and raise awareness among employees regarding information security.

Requirements

• Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Several years of experience in information security and knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, BSI, NIST, GDPR).
• Experience with security tools and technologies such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication skills in German and English.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented manner in a dynamic environment.
