Information Security Officer - Remote

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Information Security Officer to oversee security activities and manage cyber incidents across the European region. As a key member of the global security team, you will play a critical role in protecting the organization’s assets, ensuring compliance with regional regulations, and driving security initiatives aligned with global strategies.

In Short

• Lead the implementation and enforcement of the company’s information security policies, standards, and procedures across the European region
• Monitor, assess, and respond to cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents
• Act as the primary security liaison for European business units
• Provide technical assistance during risk assessments and security audits
• Ensure compliance with internal standards and regional cybersecurity regulations
• Work closely with the global security team
• Oversee third-party security assessments and vendor risk management
• Lead incident response activities
• Prepare and present security reports to regional leadership

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related discipline
• A relevant certification (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA)
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in information technology or cybersecurity
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance requirements
• Hands-on experience with security technologies
• Proven ability to lead incident response efforts
• Familiarity with European cybersecurity regulations
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Experience in a multinational corporation or highly regulated industry
