As a Technical Lead at SiteMinder, you will guide a product or project team in technology implementation while ensuring coding and quality standards are met.

In Short

Lead by example through writing high-quality, maintainable code and promoting best practices in development.
Collaborate closely with the Product Owner to refine the backlog and perform technical analysis on upcoming work.
Oversee the breakdown of product stories into executable and estimable technical tasks.
Prepare work for the build iteration, ensuring tasks are clear and actionable.
Plan, estimate, and oversee projects for structure and predictability.
Monitor code quality across the team through peer reviews and training.
Take technical ownership of resolving production issues.
Guide the team in achieving performance goals and implementing improvements.
Facilitate planning and collaboration sessions to align the team on goals.
Foster a positive team environment by motivating individuals and encouraging solutions.

Requirements

Excellent communication skills with a collaborative approach.
Strong stakeholder management skills, including influencing and negotiating.
Experience in coaching and mentoring team members.
Proficiency with TypeScript, Node.js, Vue, Java/Kotlin, MySQL, and AWS.
Deep understanding of agile methodologies and experience as a Scrum Master.
Experience working with remote or distributed teams is a plus.
Familiarity with highly scalable systems is desirable.
Experience in secure and regulated environments is a bonus.
