Shippo is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Carrier Operations Specialist to manage pricing operations and support carrier rate card implementations, playing a critical role in optimizing shipping solutions for e-commerce businesses.

In Short

• Manage pricing operations and investigate variances.
• Collaborate with Finance, Product, and Engineering teams.
• Conduct variance investigations and dispute resolutions.
• Maintain detailed variance reports for internal stakeholders.
• Develop SOPs to improve operational consistency.
• Handle rate card management and QA lifecycle.
• Utilize SQL for data querying and validation.
• Leverage Looker and Databricks for reporting.
• Identify process gaps and propose enhancements.
• Thrive in a fast-paced, evolving work environment.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of SQL.
• Experience with Looker and Databricks.
• Proficient in Jira and Salesforce.
• Strong command of GSuite tools.
• Ability to work in Slack for communication.
• Strong analytical mindset and self-starter attitude.
• 2-5 years of experience in operations or logistics.
• Familiarity with carrier pricing is a plus.
• Experience in high-growth environments is preferred.
• USPS or small parcel experience is a strong plus.
