Collections Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Collections Specialist will play a key role in maintaining healthy cash flow by managing outstanding customer accounts and ensuring timely payment collection.

• Manage and monitor accounts with overdue payments.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of collections activities.
• Reach out to clients to follow up on overdue accounts.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Develop and negotiate payment plans or settlements.
• Generate and provide regular reports on outstanding accounts.
• Partner with sales, customer service, and finance teams.
• Work with the legal team for collections actions.

Requirements

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Minimum two years’ experience in collections or related field.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to start work between 7:00 AM and 7:30 AM.
