Overview

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Software Architect to play a pivotal role in driving the transformation of our platform as we work to transition from a monolithic to a modern microservices-based architecture.

• Lead the design and implementation of a scalable and reliable microservices-based architecture.
• Collaborate with senior leadership, engineering teams, and product squads.
• Guide the transition from a monolithic to microservices architecture.
• Promote best practices around Node.js, MongoDB, Kafka, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Mentor and guide engineering teams.
• Ensure seamless integration of new architectural components.
• Communicate architectural decisions to stakeholders.
• Stay updated on industry trends and recommend new technologies.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of software development experience.
• At least 3 years in an Architect or Principal Engineer role.
• Experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Experience leading the transition to microservices architectures.
• Proficiency in MongoDB, Kafka, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to lead teams effectively.
