Centralized Scheduler - Remote

Overview

The Centralized Scheduler is responsible for scheduling, cancelling, rescheduling, and registering outpatient visits and procedures for multiple ambulatory clinics by collecting necessary information for schedule and registration preparation.

In Short

• Obtain and verify patient guarantor information annually.
• Schedule and register patients based on guidelines.
• Collect necessary information from patients for scheduling.
• Identify and communicate scheduling modifications.
• Notify personnel of scheduling changes due to cancellations.
• Respond to patient and staff needs and complaints.
• Consult with referring physician’s office for orders.
• Complete work queues in a timely manner.
• Respond to patient communications promptly.
• Escalate immediate needs to the appropriate area.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• State criminal background check as required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to sit for extended periods.
