Overview

The Trauma Registrar is responsible for the collection, entry, maintenance, and reporting of data for the Trauma Center, utilizing analytical and leadership skills for injury research and performance improvement.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: Certified Trauma Registrar Certification.
• Preferred: Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT).
• One year of experience in Trauma Registry or Health Information Management.
• Knowledge of medical record content and terminology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
