Requirements

• Graduated from an accredited Health Information Technology program.
• Completion of relevant trauma registry courses within one year.
• Certification in RHIT, RHIA, CSTR, or CAISS preferred.
• Minimum one year of experience in health information management or trauma registry.
• Familiarity with ICD-9, ICD-10, and trauma registry systems.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Good communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changes.
• Proficiency in Collector Software and EPIC EMR.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy is desirable.
