Business Development Manager - Biosafety - Remote

Overview

The Business Development Manager for Biosafety will manage and deliver a Territory Sales Plan to ensure the company meets its revenue and local contribution targets.

In Short

• Work in a sales team to achieve Territory Sales Plan.
• Develop and maintain effective business relationships with clients.
• Execute a Territory Plan and manage KPIs.
• Communicate market trends and client priorities.
• Implement customized approaches for client accounts.
• Travel within the sales territory effectively.
• Circulate meeting reports and ensure actions are taken.
• Oversee proposals and quotations for clients.
• Identify sales opportunities for other SGS facilities.
• Attend conferences and represent SGS.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Virology or related field.
• Biosafety sales experience is required.
• Must be located in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, or Vermont.
• Proven track record of sales in the NAM pharma/biotech industry.
• Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
• Ability to develop and achieve critical sales targets.
• Customer-facing experience.
