Senior Staff Cloud Security Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Senior Staff Cloud Security Engineer will play a technical role in the ServiceNow Public Cloud Security Engineering team responsible for cloud security solutions to secure ServiceNow Public Cloud across all major CSPs- Azure, AWS and GCP.

• Develop Strategy and Vision for securing ServiceNow public clouds based on security risk, industry trends and compliance requirements.
• Provide technical expertise throughout the design, implementation, and delivery of scalable security controls and solutions.
• Transform business requirements and functional specifications into security designs.
• Work with the Security Engineering team to support internal and external stakeholders.
• Influence key technical decisions and drive cross functional execution to build and manage cutting-edge security solutions.
• Partake in efforts that shape the organization’s security policies and standards for use in hybrid cloud environments.
• Strategically address global events and trends that impact the industry.
• Contribute to the team’s 3 yr roadmap.

Requirements

• Experience in leveraging AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving.
• Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or information technology and 12+ years of work experience.
• Extensive knowledge of public Clouds like AWS, Azure & GCP.
• In-depth knowledge of operating systems (Linux, UNIX, and Windows).
• In-depth knowledge of networking (routing, switching, load-balancing, etc.).
• Proficient in programming languages and scripting (Java Script, Python, Bash, C/C++).
• Experience in infrastructure automation tools like AWS CloudFormation, Terraform.
• Experience with containerization on Cloud, AKS or EKS.
• Experience with Cloud Security Posture Management.
• Cloud Certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
