Overview

GEICO is seeking a Senior Staff Cloud Security Engineer to provide strategic and technical direction in ensuring the security of our cloud-native infrastructure across public, private, and hybrid environments.

Requirements

• 8+ years in a security-focused role.
• 3+ years experience with AWS, GCP, Azure.
• Deep technical knowledge of security threats and vulnerabilities.
• Experience in offensive and defensive security roles.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of security tools and frameworks.
• Demonstrable proficiency in scripting languages.
• Experience working with auditors on security controls.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Cybersecurity.
• Third party certifications in related technologies.
