Overview

This position involves providing 24x7 support for the US Federal Government Cloud Infrastructure as part of the Big Data Federal Team.

In Short

• Support for US Federal Government Cloud Infrastructure.
• 2nd Shift Position: Sunday to Wednesday, 3 pm to 2 am PT.
• 4-day work week with no on-call rotation.
• Shift bonuses for 2nd and 3rd shifts.
• Responsible for monitoring and maintaining Big Data infrastructure.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Automate CI/CD data pipelines using Jenkins and Ansible.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for issue resolution.
• Enforce data governance policies in Big Data environments.
• Work towards delivering actionable business insights through data analytics.

Requirements

• Experience integrating AI into workflows and decision-making.
• Deep understanding of Hadoop and the Big Data ecosystem.
• 6+ years of experience with systems like HDFS, Yarn, and Kafka.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production.
• Strong Linux systems administration skills.
• Proficient in scripting languages like Bash and Python.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment.
