Overview

We are seeking a compassionate, dynamic and experienced Sales & Business Development Advocate to help deliver on our vision of redefining what it means to be a patient-centered practice.

In Short

  • This is a remote sales & business development (case management) role with core work hours 7:30am-5:00pm Pacific Time (10:30am - 8:00pm Eastern Time).
  • The role focuses on working with patients and prospective patients to educate, advocate, and assist them to get the best possible care at our specialty healthcare practices.
  • You will be trained to be a subject matter expert on the healthcare services provided by the practice.
  • Be able to effectively explain what services our clinics provide and distinguish between patients who would be eligible for our services and those that are not.
  • Manage the screening and intake process for new patients.
  • Approach patient intake conversations in a compassionate, empathetic, and consultative manner.
  • Manage patient communication in a highly professional, polished, and compassionate manner.
  • Assist the Patient Authorization Team in the verification of insurance eligibility and benefits.
  • Manage and create digital patient files using our suite of technology platforms.
  • Exhibit a continuous improvement and process oriented mindset.

Requirements

  • Experience in sales or business development, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work empathetically with patients.
  • Familiarity with insurance verification processes.
  • Proficiency in using technology for patient management.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
  • Positive and adaptable attitude.
