Overview

The Patient Account Associate I is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while managing account handling processes, ensuring timely resolution of complex issues related to payment postings and account balances.

In Short

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • One year of experience in hospital or physician back-end revenue cycle.
  • Knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare billing regulations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology.
  • Ability to operate computers and office equipment.
  • Physical ability to sit or stand for long periods.
  • Capable of lifting and transporting office supplies.
  • Ability to bend, kneel, and reach as needed.
