Overview

The Patient Account Associate II EDI Coordinator is responsible for creating and optimizing EDI connectivity for ERAs, managing payer portals, and ensuring compliance with commercial and government requirements.

In Short

  • Develops strategies for EDI connectivity and compliance.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert for commercial payor requirements.
  • Manages and maintains tickets related to payor portals.
  • Collaborates with leadership and vendors to streamline workflows.
  • Researches errors in payor payments and resolves issues.
  • Creates monitoring reports for Cash Management Leadership.
  • Promotes the mission and values of Intermountain Health.
  • Engages in continuous process improvements.
  • Participates in training and communication efforts.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Three years of experience in Revenue Cycle and/or Cash Management.
  • Associate degree in a related field preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in data analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work collaboratively.
  • Knowledge of EDI enrollment processes.
  • Ethics and conflict resolution skills.
  • Experience in revenue cycle management.
