Senior Solution Architect - Remote

Overview

ScyllaDB is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to support Pre-Sales and Proof-of-Concept activities. The ideal candidate is a productive hands-on professional who enjoys a fast-paced growing company environment.

In Short

• Prospect Engagements – Team with ScyllaDB sales organization to drive Prospect value and adoption of ScyllaDB technologies.
• Solutions Enablement – provide technical review and recommendations to deploy Scylla in production.
• Solutions creation – develop and document solutions using Scylla.
• Training – develop training material for Scylla customers.
• Collaboration - Collaborate and work with other SA’s and be the liaison between Scylla customers and the product management/engineering team.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience with PreSale/SA role
• Excellent knowledge of Linux operating systems
• Experience working in a Startup environment
• 2+ years of NoSQL database deployment/management
• Solid understanding of modern scripting languages (e.g. Python, Node.js)
• Experience using Spark, Kafka, Time Series, and Graph Databases
• Undergraduate degree in engineering or computer science or similar field
• Outstanding communication skills – written and verbal
• Well organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proven ability to go deep technically and understand our product intimately
• The ability to travel up to 25%
