ScyllaDB, a global company that develops real time, big data database, is looking for an experienced and strategic General Counsel.

In Short

• Lead a small legal team and ensure best-in-class legal operations.
• Report to the CFO and collaborate with executives across various departments.
• Support business operations in Israel, India, US, and Europe.
• Handle corporate matters and commercial contracts.
• Provide accurate and timely counsel on legal topics.
• Negotiate with external parties and draft legal documents.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Laws degree and qualified lawyer in Israel.
• 10+ years of commercial and corporate experience, including 3 years in a General Counsel role.
• Fluent in English and Hebrew.
• Experience with multinational customers and partners.
• Strong knowledge of SaaS, open-source licensing, and commercial law.
• Excellent drafting and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Creative problem-solver comfortable with complexity.
• Ability to work remotely and flexible hours.
