Overview

ScyllaDB is looking for a high-energy, results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to drive revenue growth by fueling our sales pipeline with high-quality opportunities. In this role, you’ll be responsible for identifying and creating qualified sales opportunities for our Enterprise and Corporate Account Executives. This includes strategic outbound prospecting and qualifying inbound leads to directly impact our sales success and business expansion.

In Short

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of ScyllaDB’s solutions, use cases, and competitive landscape within its target market.
  • Identify, research, and prospect to companies and key stakeholders with high sales potential for ScyllaDB.
  • Build genuine rapport with potential customers through authentic, personalized interactions.
  • Engage prospects via telephone, email, live chat, and social channels.
  • Rapidly respond to inbound leads while executing a highly targeted outbound prospecting strategy.
  • Deliver tailored messaging that aligns with each prospect’s needs, industry, and use case.
  • Proactively prospect, qualify, and schedule discovery calls between potential customers and a ScyllaDB Account Executive.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to support pre- and post-event activities, follow-up on sales campaigns, and assist with event booth duties as needed.
  • Adhere to all processes and procedures while documenting all interactions and activities in Salesforce.com and Salesloft to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Partner with Account Executives to develop and execute prospecting strategies and manage pipeline opportunities.
  • Exceed monthly and quarterly targets.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of B2B Sales Development experience.
  • Proven experience working remotely, with excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently while proactively collaborating with teams.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to evolving prospecting methods and approaches to drive continuous improvement and success.
  • Excited to excel in a highly visible, strategic role that is a driving force behind the company’s growth.
  • Must be confident and proactive in making daily outbound calls to engage and connect with prospects.
  • Exceptional conversational, listening and writing skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM and prospecting tools such as, Salesforce.com, Salesloft, Outreach, ZoomInfo, Lusha, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Zoom, and AI tools.
  • Track record of exceeding goals and targets.
  • 4-year college degree or equivalent experience.

Benefits

  • Fluency in Portuguese (written and spoken) is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
  • Experience with distributed systems, NoSQL databases, real-time data processing solutions, or IT infrastructure software is a plus.
