Maintenance Mechanic 3rd Shift - Remote

Overview

The Maintenance Mechanic will ensure the safe and appropriate operation of equipment through proper diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of production machinery and other mechanical equipment.

In Short

• Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical problems.
• Work with computerized systems including PLC and VFD drives.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Fabricate replacement parts as necessary.
• Maintain records of repairs and maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with team members and vendors.
• Work any shift as required.
• Lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Participate in emergency response as needed.

Requirements

• High School diploma required.
• Minimum of two years industrial maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of machines and tools.
• Effective troubleshooting skills.
• Basic computer hardware and software skills.
• Ability to work on AC & DC power.
• SCBA certification required.
• Reliable and available to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, and work in cramped positions.
