Maintenance Mechanic - Remote

Overview

The Maintenance Mechanic position is an excellent opportunity for motivated and driven individuals to demonstrate their ability to multitask and work collaboratively. The ideal candidate will be a team player, willing to participate in an on-call rotation, and have experience with production equipment, pumps, chillers, air handlers, boilers, and general building maintenance.

In Short

• Install, repair, and upkeep of the facility, including production machines, mechanical systems, buildings, and other structures.
• Maintain a schedule for inspecting, servicing, and testing machinery.
• Diagnose and repair machine failures independently or through vendor management.
• Follow best practices, SOP’s, and other safety guidelines.
• Complete work orders in a timely and efficient manner.
• Plan and prioritize workload.
• Keep track of parts inventory.
• Work with vendors and external parties as needed.
• Process vendor payments as required.

Requirements

• 2 years of a skilled craft at a vocational school or community college or 5 years relevant experience.
• Possesses a strong understanding of GMP regulations.
• Requires excellent written, communication and organizational skills.
• A good understanding of factory processes and technology.
• Multi-skilled in basic electrical practices.
• Possess a strong understanding of the broad range of systems to support the facility.
• Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office products, facility management systems, and maintenance software.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
