Facilities Maintenance Mechanic - Remote

Overview

The role of the Maintenance Mechanic is to provide the necessary skill sets required to perform the maintenance and repairs to preserve the physical assets of the Building, Systems, and Equipment under the direction of the Facility and Operations Managers.

In Short

• Provide maintenance and repairs for building systems and equipment.
• Journeyman certification desired in HVAC, Electrical, or Mechanical crafts.
• Five plus years of facility maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is necessary.
• Experience with industrial equipment and HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of maintenance systems such as MAXIMO is helpful.
• Participate in safety training and compliance.
• Manage spare parts inventories and perform general housekeeping.
• Attend scheduled training and maintain required licenses.

Requirements

• Journeyman certification in relevant fields.
• Five years of facility maintenance experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Experience with HVAC and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of safety compliance and training.
• Ability to manage inventories and perform maintenance tasks.
• Experience with building automation systems.
• Forklift and aerial lift operator certification.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training.
