Maintenance Mechanic - Remote

Overview

The Maintenance Mechanic supports operation, inspection, and maintenance processes to mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipment and systems in assigned facilities.

In Short

• Perform inspections and repairs to assigned property interior and exterior areas.
• Assist MES Mobile Engineers in maintenance and repair efforts.
• Conduct ongoing preventive and repair response work orders.
• General interior maintenance tasks such as hanging pictures and repairing office furniture.
• Clean HVAC coils and change filters and belts.
• Complete Hazard Assessments and comply with safety procedures.
• Maintain compliance with State, County, or City Ordinances.
• Utilize CMMS systems for all work performed.
• Submit P-card Receipts Daily and update work order status in real time.
• Attend work and safety meetings as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of applicable working experience in general building repair and maintenance.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and climb up to 30 ft ladders.
• Valid state driver’s license required.
