Director of Engineering - Biotech Manufacturing - Remote

Overview

The AD/Director, Engineering & Facility will play a critical role in overseeing all of the engineering aspects supporting Biotech facilities and manufacturing operations in New Jersey.

• Plan, manage, organize, and harmonize engineering activities and capital investments.
• Coordinate site investment for projects in line with regulations.
• Lead Reliability Engineering / Maintenance Team’s preventive maintenance efforts.
• Supervise qualification, validation, and maintenance plans.
• Oversee design and construction of innovative devices.
• Manage site engineering department and project objectives.
• Ensure compliance with technical standards and guidelines.
• Participate in energy conservation initiatives.
• Direct personnel activities including training and evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with FDA regulations.

Requirements

• 3-5 years in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• 7-10 years in pharmaceutical/consumer healthcare industry.
• Experience with Aseptic Fill & Finish Operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical or related Engineering field.
• Post-graduate qualification preferred.
• Six Sigma Black Belt or Process Improvement qualification preferred.
• PE Certification is a plus.
