Overview

Scout Motors is looking for a Senior Specialist in Retail Architecture to support the development of retail and service centers for their electric vehicles, ensuring compliance with brand standards and design guidelines.

• Lead projects through site due diligence and early concept phase.
• Manage external consultants to implement brand standards.
• Facilitate communication between Retail Strategy, Architecture, and Real Estate teams.
• Support rapid test-fitting of potential sites for functionality.
• Produce presentation materials and compile documents for approvals.
• Monitor project performance and implement lessons learned.
• Build relationships with peers and vendors for effective execution.
• Manage construction document development and permit approvals.
• Support operational launches of retail locations.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and building codes.

Requirements

• Professional degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
• Licensed Architect or NCIDQ preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in retail design/construction.
• Experience managing multiple design projects with stakeholders.
• Knowledge of construction and real estate practices.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
• Strong analytical and strategic-thinking abilities.
• Proficiency in Revit/CAD, Bluebeam Revu, Sketchup, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Knowledge of building codes and regulatory requirements.
• Willingness to travel domestically approximately 30% of the time.
