Overview

The Savant Market Development Director is focused on designing and executing comprehensive sales plans to drive adoption of new or key product/software categories.

In Short

• Develop and execute detailed go-to-market strategies for GE Proseo lighting control and shading products.
• Create brand stories and product narratives to define the Savant value proposition.
• Develop product application education and marketing for various job types.
• Provide guidance to sales teams on effective selling techniques.
• Create and execute channel strategies to increase market share.
• Foster relationships with lighting specifiers and trade professionals.
• Analyze performance metrics and adjust sales tactics accordingly.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline.
• 5-8 years of experience in sales development.
• Experience with home automation and control solutions.
• Excellent financial acumen and strategic thinking.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in presentation and computer skills.
• Ability to analyze business priorities.
• Willingness to travel and work a variable schedule.
• Ability to work remotely from a home office.
