Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President to lead our DIC Earthquake Underwriting division, combining leadership, technical underwriting expertise, and strategic vision to drive profitable growth.

• Lead the Earthquake underwriting department with strategic direction.
• Manage and mentor a team of underwriters for performance excellence.
• Underwrite complex DIC/Earthquake risks and evaluate submissions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Risk Management, Finance, or related field.
• 8+ years of commercial insurance underwriting experience.
• 5+ years in a leadership role within underwriting operations.
• Proven track record in underwriting strategy and risk assessment.
• Strong leadership and mentorship skills.
• Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
• Commitment to continuous improvement.
• Advanced certifications (CPCU, ARM) preferred.
• Decisive and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Adaptability in fast-paced environments.
